When we look back at our history, we see that our logos have changed,

our programs have evolved and yet, ETHM's vision, mission and goals

—developing and empowering youth leaders—have remained our

solid foundation.

Vision

 

End Time Harvest Ministries (ETHM), Inc. was birthed in 1994

with its vision of Healing Communities by Healing our Youth.


Mission


ETHM promotes youth involvement in Port Towns and

Prince George’s County communities by equipping them

with educational, social, and economic life skills that prepare

youth to impact the health, wellness and wealth of communities.


Goals


Promote youth-led health and wellness advocacy issues.

Equip youth with leadership and character skills.

Prepare youth for the workforce and college.

Over the years, End Time Harvest Ministries has been blessed to receive many honors, awards and acknowledgments for preparing youth to live sustained successful lives.

 

1996

Launched ETHM in the Port Towns of Bladensburg, Colmar Manor and Cottage City


1997

ETHM was invited to be a stakeholder in the Port Towns Revitalization Initiative by Port Towns Revitalization Action Committee.


Port Towns Youth Council (PTYC) was formed and members were officially recognized by Maryland’s Governor as outstanding community leaders in the Port Towns Revitalization Initiative.


1998

PTYC students were featured on the front page of the Gazette Community Newspaper.


1999

Port Towns Jobs-For-Youth Program was established.


2002

Faith-In-Action Warriors Outreach Neighbor-to-Neighbor Caregiving Program was established, which was supported by a Robert Wood Johnson Foundation grant.


2003

ETHM’s Literacy Enhancement Tutoring Programs was implemented in Port Towns elementary schools to help schools achieve Adequate Yearly Progress (AYP).


2004

Youth Development and Empowerment Model was established and was supported by the Office of the County Executive’s Livable Communities Initiative. Under this initiative, ETHM established four (4) community-based Youth Councils, three (3) Jobs-For-Youth Programs, two (2) Entrepreneurship Biz Camps.


2005

Sixty (60) Conflict Resolution Centers established in PGC communities.


Project 450 Community Clean Up Program was established as a part of the PTYC’s “Be a Friend and Pitch In” public safety program.


Pathways to Career Success career development program was established under the Youth Development and Empowerment Program Institute, which ETHM established when the organization acquired an office in Bladensburg High School.


2006

The Young Ladies of Distinction Club was established and became an official Bladensburg HS Conflict Resolution Center's crime and violence prevention program.


2007

Maryland Senator Gwendolyn Britt formed a partnership with the PTYC to establish and implement a Diabetes and Obesity Awareness and Prevention Campaign.


2008

ETHM and the PTYC became stakeholders in the Port Towns Community Health Partnership.


2009

PTYC partnered with Cottage City to establish the Port Towns’ inaugural Community Garden.


ETHM adopted Route 450 Annapolis/Bladensburg Roads as a part of Maryland’s Safety & Highway Administration’s Adopt-A-Highway Program.


2010

Youth Wellness Leadership Institute premiered to empower youth to become Wellness Ambassadors in the Port Towns and County.


2011

ETHM & the Port Towns Youth Council received an Unsung Heroes Award from the American Public Health Association’s National Community-Based Organization Network.
